Hi,
I saw this forum post before but it did not help me. I have version 3.22.1 of the Steakhouse template but I don't have the article edit gear for articles. Could you please help with this because my client needs to be able to edit their article through the front end. I will be happy to provide more details.
Thank you,

pavit Third time is a charm. Should be good now.
It worked thanks
Please try to temporarly disable 3rd part extensions like admintools
pavit I have disabled it.
I created a new menu item as single article and not as Single Article (One-page wide layout) and as you can see it works fine so the issue is on the menu item type which doesn't allow editing.
pavit Is there any way to change that or do I have to recreate the Specials menu item?
kcdadmin Is there any way to change that or do I have to recreate the Specials menu item?
I do not see many differences between 2 items, except for some css styling which you can repeat also on the new menu item applying it to the custom.css file, you can use the chrome developers tools to copy styles from old to new item.
pavit Ok, I can do that. Just to be sure - I have to create a new Menu Item, reapply the CSS styling, and I should be able to use the edit article feature from the front end?
Thank you for your time.
You need to create a new menu item as type single article, then apply the css copied from old menu item in custom.css field in template configuration. then you will be able to edit it from front end.
pavit Great! If I have any issues I'll reply here but thank you again for your help. Your team has been great to work with.
