Try in this way

Edit this file plugins/system/jagooglemap/jagooglemap.php and find around line 218

$map_js = '//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=' . $sensor . '&key=' . $api_key;//v3

Change to :

$map_js = '//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=' . $api_key;//v3

FIRST TO MAKE CHANGES TAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILE

FTP account seems to not work , could you specify the correct settings for ftp ?

I still cannot login via ftp , could you please edit your post and add login for THIS CPANEL ?

The error you are receiving is a syntax error , since i tested the code on my uber local installation and it works fine please check better that the code is correctly added to the file , it should be like below.

$map_js = '//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=' . $api_key;//v3

ftp checked again. Works fine. Use flat unsafe ftp, not the fillezilla fast connection.

I changed your file as showed above and warning from console disappeared.

In the same folder i copied a backup file named_orig_jagooglemap.php
