Thank You for your advice. I had already downloaded and tested the first plugin you mentioned, got it to work but this ends up being an either/or scenario. The objective from the outset was to get the table to do both particularly when viewed on a mobile.
We tested and timed recreating a table as per the format required by the plugins you mentioned and it was very time consuming as compared to importing an XML document and styling it in Adobe Indesign and generating a PDF, the ratios were about 10 to 1 (Given that all the information already exists as .csv and .xml)
As the site that we are working on contains hundreds of tables we have decided to create PDF's and then embed them in the Module and/or Article. We feel that we have more control doing it this way and the added benefit of the User being able to View and Download the said tables sadly without the sticky headers and columns but with the ability to zoom into the document and scroll left and right, up and down. The tables can now be branded accordingly which pleases the client no end.
I trust that in the not to distant future the legibility, navigation and ease of input for tables will be suitably addresses especially seeing as mobile viewers exceed desktop etc. viewers by a larger margin and that the number grows for the former every day.
Again Thank You for your valuable input it is much appreciated.
