Venture Banner Won't Display Until Window Resize

I'm unable to get the banner images in my Venture template based site to display until after the browser window is resized. Furthermore the page content won't display either until the browser is resized. I've tried multiple browsers (Safari, Mozilla, Exploder) on multiple machines with the same result.

I've tried the following settings turned on & off.
Responsive Layouts

Lazyload
Banner Animation

Cache is set to conservative.

Any ideas?
