What the heck is going on with this? I go on vacation, come home and the back end is weird in vertex, 1and1 stated that my site was emailing people for no reasons, and the ion icons are not showing up, just a rectangle with 4 letters in it???

So far I turned all mail off, went into template and turned off ion icons and then back on to get them to work again, and the vertex? I don't know about what is going on there. Please look at the vertex menu
Please advise.

Also the file that 1and1 stated was sending the mail was the index.php

Also the Ion Icon display for search in the top left does not work and might be an ion icon issue that needs addressed in the template.

    Further, here is the email I received from 1&1 when I returned home, can you please look at this :

            Further while you are on this, I asked before and have not seen the post, but the index.php file is sending mail and the 1and1 host blocks my website. I had to turn mail off. The original post is deleted??? let me know please.

            I updated 2 files:

            templates/outdoor_life/vertex/css_and_js.php (line 60)

            templates/outdoor_life/vertex/admin/css/vertex.css (line 937)

            to fix issue of menu and search icon.

            Regarding to the email issue, kindly check with your host and it should relate to hosting rather than template.

                    Could you check the ftp account again? I will compare to see how it different from the default 'index.php' file of our template.

                          Hi Jim,

                          That index.php file is default file of Joomla, I compared with default file and it looks the same. Could you contact your host for further help to check which caused issue? as this should not relate to template issue.
