First of all, this is not a bug or issue.
Let me explain in short.
We provide paid extensions mostly that need an active membership, Joomla update system is used to give notifications for these updates. This is standard way to provide update notifications to Joomla users . Since the products are premiuim, its not possible to give an option to allow update via Joomla.
You can use JAEM or install the new version via Joomla extension installer.
If you already has the latest version installed and you getting the notification, please click on clear cache button on update screen and it will be removed or wait for sometimes to auto refresh of Joomla updates cache.
