homepage modules

Hi,
in the end I have a problem with the modules on the homepage. the links :
index.php? option = & view = com_jux_timetable event & id = 11 & Itemid = 101
send me back to my homepage instead of the page. I tested the module on another hosting with another template and it works normally. From the developer of the module it would come from the menu, but I can not find.
if the link is index.php? option = com_jux_timetable & view = event & id = 11
it works.
the problem is on the event module

If I want to change, I have the messageSave failed with the following error: The home menu item must be a component.

I cannot see any index.php in your urls, if you are receiving them in your paths most probably you should edit modules and remove the index.php suffix from the url of the link

tee-shot Hi. You are lacking a landing page for component. Simply add a menu item of a type of this component. If none will be created than joomla uses homepage instead.

Sorry I do not understand. I disable rewritting, I see index.php in all links.

which link are you talking about?

I created the link at the bottom, and it should put Itemid = 409 but it does not get it back. If I put the link in mainmenu in home page it's ok, but it's not normal, no?
on the other hand, the latest news module no longer works and links this link index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=44:tests-pour-les-persageurs-de-de-2012 -2013 & catid = 13 & Itemid = 101
[edit]why when it's written url it puts component / jux_timetable / event / 11-stage? Itemid = 101 it should just put component / jux_timetable / event / 11-stage and it would work

it's odd, I have sites with purityIII and it does not work, I have a single site with a template that does not come from joomlart and it works, without putting a link in a menu.
I will make a joomla install with the original templates.
edit]if I put any other page on the homepage it works

It can be lack of mainbody section.
Kindly let me know the steps to replicate this issue on your site with Module Name/ID
Also edit fields in first post and submit a temp super user login for staff.
I need these details to check and suggest a fix.

I changed the module, but I put the identifiers in order to avoid multiplying the components.
If you look, please tell me if it comes from the module or the template.

Composant Jux Time Table et module JUX Timetable Events

The site is not in production, you can activate or deactivate the module as you want. Just display the module on the homepage and click on "En savoir plus"
I temporarily deactivated the CSS and JS compression in the template.

You want to talk about what problem? my problem is by clicking on the module, it leads me to the home page, even having put a link to the component.
I can reactivate the module if you want to see
For the message The home menu item must be a component is when we put a link system link on the home page, but apparently it is normal.

tee-shot Hi. The whole "redirecting to homepage" is a joomla thing. As default joomla uses homepage if no landing page (component type menu item) is defined. But if You need those links to redirect to another hosting than it's not necessary for the page where link is. Still You will need it for the other page. Please tell me where I can find this link and the url where should it redirect it to along with joomla panel access to second page.

Hi,
I changed the module and it works.
But I think the menu still has a problem. I have in the mega menu login module and when I click create an account or I forgot my password, it remains on the home page. I have to create a link menu elsewhere with a different name for it to work. It's the same for the last news module, I need to create a link menu at the bottom of the page while I already have a link in mega menu.
I think the way of working is not optimal.

Hi
When you click create an account it used system URL, that always open on homepage.
You need to create menu items for Registration and forget password so these link will be redirected to respective menu.
Homepage does not have Mainbody section to display any content, its only use modules in its layout.

but I can not understand why some modules work and not others.

And I put good links in the main menu, I put a link to features articles and yet last articles do not work without a link down to List All Categories.features articles not enough?

I don't understand you. For me it's the same problem, there are modules that even with a link menu link on the home page. I want to put a screenshot, but what?
Just go to the link I gave in fields and click on any link in the latest news module.

There is in the main menu the link to features articles, maybe it's not enough? On my other sites, I do not need to link in a menu for the module last items work. But maybe because the home page is a blog page featured articles.

And may be going to see in the administration with the access I gave you and explain to me what's wrong.

In latest the article showing from category : actualites/ (13-actualites/)
this category does not associated to any menu. as suggested before, kindly create a new menu with type category blog and select this category.
so it will open under the new menu not under homepage.
