Publisher Pro - Auto Approve Authors.

Hi,

In the backend - I have selected - auto approve authors - yes - http://prntscr.com/p01i3o

However, on the frontend - it is still mentioning - This page is available for approved authors only - http://prntscr.com/p01imt

So, please let me know - how to auto approve authors - so that - they can register and become an author and does not require any approval from the backend.

In the screenshot errror shows that user not registered as author.
Kindly register user via author registration page.
Or complete the registration as showing on the page you share, once it completed, user will be auto approved as author.

After inserting all the details required and then clicking on submit - the page is not moving forward -

Please find a user details in the edit fields. Please fill in all the details and then click on submit and cross check it.

Please login in with the demo user details that I have provided in the edit field.
then go to online ecommerce platforms - online newspaper and tv channel platform - author control panel - then fill in the required details (provided by me in the edit fields).

Now, after inserting all the details - when we click on submit - the page is not moving forward.

Also, find the super user details in the edit fields.

If a user is not author he can not submit the content.

Same is showing on Author page, you need to Fill author form to become an author.

yes, this is the same thing I am trying to say.

this demo user - arti is not a registered as an author.

Now to register as an author - I filled in all the details in the AUTHOR FORM - and then clicked on submit - but the issue is that the page is not moving forward.

What I want is:
that the users can directly register as an author without me as an admin - approving them from the backend.

it will work when user register via Author. My access is blocked on site if i turn off the captcha http://prntscr.com/p154lc
I shared it with my team members to look on this from a different location.
May be the issue is from 3rd party extensions as there are many many extension used on site.

please try again to login in as I had changed some settings. I believe now it will work.

Hi,

There is an AJAX request to check the user email before to save in database, maybe there are another user already saved with the same email.
The AJAX request is: ....index.php?option=com_publisher&controller=publications&tmpl=component&format=raw&task=checkExistingUser&username=test&email=test@test.com&id=0&do=1
but this call not return the answer and because this the page with author registration is not submited.

I need the FTP account access (host and username/password), I need to do a debug in Publisher files.

Can you tell me if in your site is installed a plugin or extension for "yandex verification"? When our AJAX request is made, the response contain this meta:

and because this, our JS script is blocked, this meta should not be added in AJAX request.

I tried to delete the code from my end, however, it is still appearing.

So, please delete it and find the login credentials of both admin as well as website hosting server details in the edit field.

Hi,

I can not find where is that meta code, but I made some custom changes in "/components/com_publisher/views/loginedit/tmpl/default.php" file (lines - 311 and 326) and now you can register in via Publisher page.
Please make a back-up to this file for the next upgrades of Publisher.

There is no other steps except mentioned in last post for file /components/com_publisher/views/loginedit/tmpl/default.php
take backup of this file before updates.
