GDPR Customize front end layout/order

Good afternoon,
I was wondering if there was a way to reorganize the layout of the GDPR categories/sections for the front end. I have looked through out the settings (not much there for layout or order) as well as the plugins.

What I would like to do is have the layout to appear as such:
Custom
General
Joomla
Kunena
Jomsocial
etc...

Hi,

You mean that you want to change the order of these tabs in backend settings of JA GDPR component?

Could you share the credentials of your site also?

I would like to change the order of them for the front end. If this means the back end also that would be great. (updated)

At this moment, there is not that option to order unfortunately. I will check further with the team on this.

I was hoping that this could be something simple done with the php files, but due to the complexity of them, I have not had much time to find out why a simple re-order brings up php errors. I wish I had more time, I would see what I could do on my end.

Looking forward to progress on this, either by php direction or (better yet) optional organization of the layout.

No I did not. <blushes> of all things, that should have been something to think of. Sometimes the easiest solution is the hardest one to bipass.

Now, I do have a couple other questions regarding the layout. Is there a way to add multiple Custom forms, fields?

For my others I will start a different thread in case someone else has some of the same questions.

Aye, that is correct. 🙂 We have a few things going on, and it would be nice to be able to allow more than one custom tab for additional components that are not supported by the JA GDPR or (and likely) not supported right away with the up coming addition with Joomla 3.9.

It would be kind of a stop gap for the components that are not supported right now (and might be a bit easier?). In my mind, I see it more so as being able to add (+/-) for each needed custom.

Your thoughts?

May I know which 3rd party extension are you referring to? If that extension doesn't support GDPR compliant by default, you can ask them to follow our developer guide here for how to create plugin for it: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-component/ja-joomla-gdpr-extension#developer

Good morning (no sleep for me yet, too much work to do!),
I posted elsewhere asking about it. However, I know that all of the components can not be added, as there are so many. https://member.joomlart.com/forums/d/2741-os-solution-plugins-request-eshop-membership-pro

EShop and Memberships Pro are ones we are using soon and have integrated with our own AMS system. I am waiting to see how the new Joomla version works out.

I do know that both of these are fairly popular and work quite nicely over all (minus some of the custom styling of course for dark themes).

I will look at that as well. Currently have a tight deadline, and web ops and development is not my primary job right now (c++, Python as well as 3d art). I will also pass that along to the OS team as well.
