display of product categories

Hi,

We just noticed that in our Instyle template a certain bunch of product categories are not visible only in the side-menu.

Please be so kind to let us know your idea what can be the problem, earlier it was OK but we could notice that changing these days.

Hi,

Could you provide your website backend and FTP access to your post fields? Then we'll be able to check the issue.

PS. Are you using the latest version of the InStyle theme?

You have to use your thread fields (your website url was added to your first post fileds). These fields are visible only for moderators.

Thanks for the access - Please check your products categories, search for "emelo_hidraulikus" slug. The category "Emelő hidraulikák, prések" is empty, no products, that's the reason of your issues.. maybe someone change the category slug, I'm not sure..

Thanks for answer, but I miss the visibility of sub-categories and not the products...

The "emelo_hidraulikus" ("Emelő hidraulikák, prések") is really empty, but there are a lot of sub-categories in that branch what was visible before e.g. in that way; http://karmatech.hu/termek-kategoria/emelok/

It is interesting because half of category work well as before, but some main category seems empty in the screen and it is possible to reach the sub menus only via the side menu...
What is more, if we move a sub-menu from "faulty main category" to a "well functioning main category", it will be visible on the screen again. If we move back, it will be hide again.

Do you have any suggestion what could be changed? We do not find any possibility or option to fix that and now the website partly hide the product so it is a big problem.

I'm not sure what's the problem, are you able to check any default WordPress theme for a moment? (or default WooCommerce theme: https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/).

Try to disable also all WooCommerce add-on plugins.

I found another strange thing;
- suddenly appeard a new main product category named "uncategorized" - how? and why? We didn't generat that...

It seems something was changed in Woocommerce and I ran out from ideas...

Hi,
So did yo update WooCommerce recently? The "uncategorized" is a category where new products will go if you don’t assign them to any ohter category. It seems to be WooCommerce issue, more information may be found here:

What about the previous issue and any default theme, did you check it?
