I have lost the container-tabs position on the home page. They don't appear when I Preview Module Positions

Also, I cannot change the image in the masthead on any page and I would like to adjust the opacity on the mask over the image.

Can I change the Off Canvas icon on the site to text and reposition it to another part of the page?

cspgsl You can replace the off-canvas icon with TEX by adding this to css:

.off-canvas-toggle .fa-bars:before {
    content: "TEXT";
}

To reposition it please try using this code:

@media (min-width: 768px) {
.navbar-header {
    float: right;
}
}

There is no position with name container-tabs in template by default.
Can you re check it if you added in custom position?
Here is documentation of template to show all module configurations.

When I apply teh float right tag, I loose the abiltiy to alter the width of the button

Find
TPL_SIDE_BAR = "Sidebar"

change siebar text with your text.

this code is used for off canvas button width and height

One last thing: I want to move the main navigation to the left by adding padding.

I changed padding-right on line 183 to 250px in http://www.golfequipmentclassifieds.com/t3-assets/dev/orange/templates.ja_lawfirm.less.navbar.less.css but it does not have any effect.
