I am having trouble changing certain text to fit my needs. Usually I can go straight to the language file and do this, but I have had no luck. I have having trouble with the the text in the navigation under each article. Right not it is reading Prev Model and Next Model. I have to change the text "model" to something else. I thought I found the solution but it ended up reading "tpl_ Next" in front of the text that I wanted to change it to.
I appreciate any guidance on this.

Hi,

There are language text so you can override: TPL_PREVIOUS_MODEL and TPL_NEXT_MODEL

You can go to Backend > Extensions > Language(s) > Overrides and add translation for these 2 language constant.

Hi all,
in a my new website (in production yet) with this template,
I have this issue (PREV MODELS & NEXT MODEL) and into the forum I see your solution.
Despite the attempt to OVERRIDE the text, in the file en-GB.tpl_ja_aiga.ini (folder> / language) I don't see that the variable PREV_MODEL or NEXT_MODEL exists.
I find it instead in the folder "/ templates / ja_aiga / language / en-GB" in the file en-GB.tpl_ja_aiga.ini with the name TPL_PREVIOUS_MODEL = "Prev Model" and TPL_NEXT_MODEL = "Next Model".
How can you force the translation of these values since in the override the .ini file is expected to be in the folder / language and not in the folder / templates / ja_aiga / language / en-GB ?!

In Backend > Extensions > Language(s) > Overrides > you just need to select the language you want to add translation for a language constant like TPL_PREVIOUS_MODEL or TPL_NEXT_MODEL

When you add translation for a language constant, it will be added into override language file in associated folder of that language. This way will keep your translation safe when updating Joomla or template.
