change the Off Canvas icon on the site to text

I am trying to change the Off Canvas icon on the site to text. I added the following to a custom.css file but it doesn't have any effect.

.off-canvas-toggle .fa-bars:before {
content: "TEXT";
}

I added my css code on https://www.golfequipmentclassifieds.com/ and it works but not on the canadianaccountantsforum.ca site

Kindly follow this :
open file "/tpls/blocks/off-canvas.php" in template "ja_morgan".
Find line 21-23

  <span class="bar-first"><span class="hidden">bar</span></span>
  <span class="bar-mid"><span class="hidden">bar</span></span>
  <span class="bar-last"><span class="hidden">bar</span></span>

Remove it and add the text you want to show.

Save and check.

Kindly remove custom css and js script if added on site to apply this change.
