Event Details button goes to 404 error page

I apparently have a setting wrong on this particular site because when I enable the "Show Details" button for the event, it goes to a 404 page.

I was using DT Register 4.2.3 with patches. After checking all the Configuration options and event settings I could find that might affect the Event Details button, I updated to 4.2.4 with patches to see if that might solve the problem. But it didn't.

Can you help me find out what I have set incorrectly that is causing the Event Details button to return a a 404 page? This has not been an issue on other sites, so I assume it's an error in how I have it set up rather than a bug - I just can't figure out what setting it is.

I can't access backend of your site now, if your host limits access from my place, could you add exception for IPs from Vietnam & India?

I apologize - I had the wrong URL. It's changed. I also removed geographic blocking for your regions. You should be able to access the site now.

Hi,

The issue here is that the article you linked the event to was expired.

For example, with the event '2019 Columbus Day Golf Tournament (Oct 14, 2019)' is linked with article called '2018 Columbus Day Golf Tournament' but this article was set to expire on 2018-10-08 so you saw 404 page.

I just tried to change the Finish Publishing date for this article and it works fine now.

If other events have the same issue, you can check the same.

saguaros Doh! I apologize for wasting your time - I copied the event from last year, when it was linked to an article. I no longer use separate articles for events, and had forgotten all about that.
