Questions about LMS Guru.

Hello, I have some questions, that I'm looking for answers:
I'm looking to create a website for internal training for our staff. All our staff has a login to our website. The website is only by login.
Here is the purpose of us to use the training online for our staff.

All trainings are free, so I want to remove all the $ from the system or not showing them all to anyone. As the purpose is to train our staff.

Type of training/ meeting:
1- Staff training that they need to complete the training.
We have some mandatory training that staff must take it and complete it, how we measure that in the system and make sure they complete it to the end.
All our training will content some videos, pdf, pictures and quizzes.

2- Non mandatory training, optional for them to do, also it would be nice if we can see who done it
3- Live training or live meeting, that we need to track who is attending live, also if they have questions, they can ask from the same screen like chat system when they open the live training. We need to record the time of the login and the logout, did they watch the live training to the end or they left in the middle … etc. so we need a full log with the username, and the time of activities. Again the chat box in the live meeting is very important for us too, so we can interact with the staff.

We are planning to host all our videos either in youtube as unlisted or somewhere else, I’m not sure what is your system supports, also the live stream do you support youtube live?? Or Microsoft Stream?
Please help and advice.

    Hi
To avoid any payment, you can make all the courses Free. And if you want the each staff must saw the course you can set the completion term of the course or issue a certificate after completion of all lessons/ Pass final exam.
    And they will get Certificate.

    1. A Teacher of the course can track the student activity to see the progress.
    2. There is no option for Live training, you can put the Live video URL from youtube and student will be able to see.The activity who is see is not trackable, you can only see which user is logged in on site via Joomla admin or track the online users via Google Analytics. And there is no option for chatbox as well you can look for Social community extension JomSocial for the live chat between members or a group coversation.
Youtube is supported fine in Guru.

I suggest you to take a round on Guru demo site here an play with the option to clear all doubts, If there is any confusion kindly ask me here.
    Login : demo/demo

    Thank you for your reply,

Is that possible to make the live session as: Take this course method, so I can track who is taking it?

see attached. will this (take this course) will provide me a log who took the live the session?

    Thanks,

      Hi
Takes this course will allow user to enroll inside the course only to view the content. You can create a new course and Put the live session media as a lesson on Youtube and user are able to see that.

Hi by doing this can I track who took the course? ???

Can I add comments section there people can comments on the course

      Thanks

        Hi
If you are a teacher or Admin you can see the subscription of the course on backend.
A teacher can see this student list on frontend teacher dashboard.
This will give who enrolled for the course, not a live tracking.

About the comments there is comments option in the Lessons, that can be integration with Kunena component.
