On the homepage I want to display only upcoming events, but now all events are displayed. How do I do that?
janneels Hi You can change the option to display events from JEvents latest events module. Here : http://prntscr.com/pbjaup At the moment is set to new event and past event as well.

janneels Hi You can choose Nearest events : https://prnt.sc/pbjaup Please check the module options, these option are provided by the module. If you feel any option is not working like its showing in backend, kindly check the module with default Joomla template protostar to see the output.
