Hello,

After restoring a backup (Akeeba backup) of my site all the setting (styles, content, ...) disappears from the JA Builder pages.

Is there a possibilty to restore my settings of my JA Builder pages?

Thanks and regards,

Pieter Coppens

    Hello,

From the revisions i can restore an older version of the JA Builder pages where the content is again available but the css-layout is still broken. I also tried to restore the "[root]/media/jub" folder from on older (akeeba) backup but no result.

When i copy the content of the most recent css-file from media/jub/default/css in the custom css-field of the JA Builder page, the layout is again there. So the content of this css-file is the layout i needed but is there an other method to link the layout again?

Are there other suggestion to restore the css-layout after the restore of an akeeba backup.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Thanks.

      Hi,

With JA Builder, you should use its built-in feature Import / Export pages instead of using Akeeba.

On edit screen of JA Builder page > choose to export a page (from original site) to a file then go to destination site > import from that file so it can keep the same settings and style.

      Hello,

I know the feature but i never used it because i was thinking that Akeeba will do the job for me. So after restoring a backup with Akeeba the settings of styles are gone. Are these settings stored in the database?

I restored also a full backup of the entire site (database and webspace) using the backuptool of my hostprovider One.com, but the settings and style are also gone.

Can i do something with the css file in "media/jub/default/css" which is the style i needed?

So i hope to find a solution to restore the settings of my JA Builder.

      Regards

        Hello Saguaros,

Excuse me for the late respons.

Restoring a backup from my hostingprovider finally did the job. Know everything of the settings of JA Page Builder are back and I know that Akeeba backup and JA Page Builder are not compatible. For now one I'll use the export feature to backup the JA Builder page settings.

        Thanks against for your help!

        Regards,
        Pieter
