Curious how I go about setting a whole page background image. My assumption is that it's within Settings > Custom Code > All Pages > CUSTOM CSS. If I have that correct, then can you suggest a snippit that I can leverage to set an image?
Thanks much,
Andy
Hi Andy,
On a JA Builder page, it will include blocks from header to footer, not quite sure of the background you're trying to add here, could you share your site URL and screenshot of how you want it should be?
Appreciate the response, Saguaros. I'm familiar with the blocks and how to add backgrounds to each of them but what I'm after is to create a background image that encompasses the entire page. The site is presently not public. Does that make sense?
aredman1 I need to have a closer look on your site because as you can see our demo site, each block displays in full width so it will cover anything behind it. Hence you can't see the background image.
I appreciate the response. However, what if I decide to only configure the 'content' section of the site and leave the header and footer without a configuration ... basically completely transparent? Can I not set a background image to cover the entire page in this situation?
aredman1 Hi Header and footer will be same for all pages, except you move them in content area. About the background, each block has different style in JA Builder. Can you share the URL of site here and give a screenshot of the part you want to change background. This will help us to know exact request changes.
Regards
Thanks for all of the replies thus far. We can close this issue and I'll find another solution. My question was quite straight forward, not requiring you to view the URL, as I have indicated it was private and not public. Not sure what the difficulty is with the question if I'm honest. Alas ... thanks anyway.
aredman1 Hi Each section has different property in builder and its not clear which section you want to change background, this is why URL is requested, you can put the URL whenever your site is on live server.
