custom rss / more advanced options for rss feed

What are my options for either creating a custom rss type or extending the existing avdanced options?

Using the service soundCloud for customer podcast hosting. We want to use Social feed to pull from soundCloud Rss into joomla articles. There aren't enough options in Social Feed for all of the fields we need to import.

We can handle the edits ourselves. I was wanting a roadmap to make edits go quickly and not submitting a feature request. If you can provide information to make the edits easier, great. if not i will continue working toward the outcome i need.

We just need more details to see if it can be done or not and if it's useful feature, our developer may implement it.
