(sorry i am building the site on my computer and thus cannot provide a working site url)

I came acorss this problem with Creativity template and NSP GK5: when the site first loads, the hover image (color) remains the oout-of-the-box default purple but not the one i set in the template settings.
I have to manually change the color once on the active site, then it starts to work, ie. color change with the rest of the site.

This happened after I have everything updated to their latest versions. It was working initially when the site was installed using the quickstart package.

I have tested all available NSP GK5 versions and found that the last working one is ver. 1.9.4.

Is there anything I can do to make later versions work too?

Unfortunately without a link to test it we cannot help with this, you should find a way to move your website on a public host from where we can access and debug the error.

Let us know when you published it we will keep this thread opened.

Nearly 7 months and I finally had it figured.

For those having the same problem and end up finding this thread...

the solution is to modify this file:
modules\mod_news_pro_gk5\tmpl\portal_modes\portfolio\style.css

just comment out the line and it will work
