Display the most recent article of K2 categories

Hi,
I'd like to display the latest article of 6 K2 categories. But if I target some categories and one of them has more recent articles than another, there are categories that are not displayed.
Is it possible to achieve that with this module?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi,

If I understand correctly, you sort the module to show K2 items in recent date but one of those categories has more item (which show up on frontend) than other categories, right?

I think you can try to set the items you want to show as Featured K2 items , then go to backend settings of this module > set to show Featured items only

you're right, but we'd like to achieve that dynamically and display always the most recent item of all selected categories. Is that possible?

Could you share credentials of your site and tell me the module + how many items you want to retrieve from each category?

I only need to retrieve the last item of each category, so every selected category would display one item.

It would be hard to achieve that, I'm afraid that this module doesn't support that kind of filter at this moment.
