Hello! I've bought access to get newer versions of your Gavick themes. I've downloaded the News 2 Theme and fixed some frontend errors on our page.

Now I still have an error message which I can see inside the backend when I open any module:

Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; plgButtonGK_Typography has a deprecated constructor in /home/www/web281/html/plugins/editors-xtd/gk_typography/gk_typography.php on line 22

Do I need any plugins or modules which I also have to download? Looks like a problem with GK Typrography?

I also know that this site has PHP 7.0 at the moment. I'm already try to change the version as soon as I can.

Hm, I tried to update the plugin GK Typography. I can't find any issues now. But I only want to mention, that I've found some js errors inside the console on frontend.

Array.forEach is deprecated; use Array.prototype.forEach instead mootools-core.js:9:303
Array.slice is deprecated; use Array.prototype.slice instead mootools-core.js:13:197

Can I ignore them? I've found out, that GK Imageslider is using mootools, so I can't disable the js files. If I use a plugin to disable them, I will get another js errors and the slider on top is missing.

imda Hi. In GK Image Slider You should be able to select which javascript library to use. Please check advanced section of module settings to switch to jQuery. Unfortunately not all styles have it, so You may need to select one of those that can use jQuery.

Hey teitbite, long time no read 🙂

I've checked every module style for Image Show GK4, but I can't find any JS settings. :o I only know some inside the News Pro GK5 module.

EDIT: I can see, there's also an update for this module? I have 1.55, will the newer version have big changes if I install it?

You can take a backup of your site and try to update latest version for module and template.
