GK News Show Pro gk5 as main component in Joomla

Is it possible to set NSP5 as main component from the default HOME-button (The star-marked) in Joomla to show K2-items?

I have just changed template from GKNews2 to Novitas on https://ringeriksavisa.no Some years ago I had a programmer to fix the template GKNews2 so all the K2 items came in the default component called mainbody. And inside mainbody I had the module news show pro gk5. After changing template to Novitas, I have no possibility to direct the menue point "HOME" to the module News Show Pro GK5. It is not an option when you edit the menue type. How do I get around to it?
