Product list to be displayed as a table, instead of grid or list

I thought it will be easier, but I cannot handle:

How to make the results in the product list to appear like a "table" where the "fields" are columns?

Adapt layout to the one as per your request means apply custom code to the files, such type of customiztion is out of this forum support scope.

You shoud hire a developer to have it done.

I cannot afford to hire a developer, but please take it as a suggestion for the next versions.

Should not be too difficult to be done but it is priceless for a more technically oriented websites ...

The engineers do not like "nice-looking colorful pictures", but data tables.

I am using the JA Megafilter for the native Joomla articles with custom fields.

It is not a bug so there are no suitable screenshots to upload.

Just imagine a table where each column is some of the articles fields: title, description, custom fields etc

I did not mean it's a bug, I meant it's best if you can illustrate the modification you expect via screenshots so I can understand better of how you're trying to achieve and suggest you.

Because as you can see on our demo site of JA Megafilter for custom fields of Joomla content. Each item displays in the filter result includes: title, image, description, custom fields, etc... already.

Attached you can find the working "Grid view" (I have automatically translated it with Google to be clearer)

Each item has

Base fields - Title, Thumbnail
Custom fields - Number of belts, Belt type, Diameter

Instead of the Grid or List view, I want something I would call Table view, which for the above example should look like this :

I am using this type of filtering in another websites and I strongly believe it will be very useful not only for me but for other people.

Especially when they are engineering-related websites 🙂

Thanks for the screenshot, I got your point but for now, JA Megafilter doesn't support this kind of table view unfortunately.

You will need to customize much on the layout of megafilter and add style for it.

several months later, do you think that there is a chance JA MEGAFILTER to have a table view soon?

i tried to find somebody to pay for but I am not experienced enough to be sure that they will do it fine without destroying something
