Troubleshooting: Mobile Detect and system cache enabled

Mobile Detect and system cache enabled - Settings panel
This option is not compatible with the Joomla System - Cache plugin which saves copies of pages to be reused for different visitors on different devices. The Mobile detect library is not able to use cached pages to determine the users device.

This is rather ambiguous.
Am I correct is thinking that if I enable mobile detect the site cannot have cache enabled?

Thinking ... is an updated template going to resolve this?

You're right, this is default feature in Buildr based templates and there is not change yet for this feature in updated template.
