Resizing pictures for different layouts

Using JA Joomla Page Builder. It's been a great tool to get sites up and running quickly with all the page library options. There's an issue that I'm having with my gallery that I'm building up from scratch. I'm using the spotlight with a medium size container to create a gallery that works correctly. It works well in all modes except for phone. I specify the size of the pictures (changing from 1000x500px to 600 x 300px) When I do this, the pictures don't scale correctly and some look squashed.

Is there any way to change the size of the pictures in Page Builder for smaller layouts?

Nevermind... I figured out that my limitation is on the height being manually spec'd. Removing the height attribute and letting the width define the size of the pic worked like a charm.
