No Update For 6 Months!!!

Hi there,

Not wanting to sound like I am repeating myself here, but when exactly are we going to see the next update for JA Pagebuilder? We need an eta, none of this... "it's coming soon"

All members of JA that are paying for the pagebuilder subscription are paying for updates, which we've had none in a very long time for, so long that it's really starting to make me rethink renewing my subscription. On which front I think you guys need to give us all free extensions on our memberships again, it's a joke that we're having to wait this long for updates.

I appreciate you guys are busy etc but it's really not fair to be charging your users for updates while there is no updates and there is a lot of bugs still.

I think we need a proper response from @arvind if @saguaros could let him know to reply to this post it would be great, I think we all deserve to hear what's going on, when we'll see the next update, what's new in next update, and most importantly what you are going to do for us disgruntled members, I think you should personally give us all +6 months.

I think it's fair considering we're basically alpha testing the page builder and haven't seen any progress when there's clearly things wrong with it.

Hi Richard,

We hope to preview the new builder hopefully by July 15th. Its a work in progress.

If you are encountering any bugs in the current page builder let me know and I will get it resolved. Our focus is on T4 and new page builder.

Hi drarvindc ,

It has been brought up multiple times that JA Builder is not GDPR compliant since 28th May 2018, but @saguaros has been unable to provide any time frames on when it will be compliant and there have been no updates, surely this should be priority as it causes issues for clients all over the world, are you able to comment on when it will be GDPR compliant?

As @gringo211985 says, we deserve some form of compensation here, given that we have been paying for JA Builder and not received any updates/improvements for over 6 months!

We look forward to seeing what the new JA Builder will offer on July 15th...

Hi,

As I answered via the ticket, our developer is looking at this. JA Builder is a bit special product, it takes time to tweak/implement the new feature. We do hope the new page builder (which is being implemented) can eliminate all of the drawbacks from the current model. I will get back to you as soon as I get update from the team.

Checkbox to accept the privacy policy in contact form has been added in the contact form block in the new release version 1.1.5.

You can take a full backup of your site and update this latest version for JA Builder

I can't install v 1.1.5 for some reason... I downloaded the package but when I upload it via extensions - install it says parserror... :-O

EDIT: sry it was my fault... Didnt use akeeba to move it to a different host and there were some leftovers in database... Its working as expected ;-)

Kindly provide screenshot of the error or elaborate with the exact error you are getting which would help precisely in reviewing the relative issue as mentioned

Also, Try install the latest JA Builder version following other ways to install extension as outlined here

If yet issue persists, You can open a new topic and kindly add your admin details for the respective site in edit fields in order for us to try installing the same at our end.

For reference, You can follow thread post (5 point) procedure.

(Kindly do take backup of your site so as to rollback if needed)

romolo You may kindly view here as JA Builder has been updated for various bug fixes with JA Joomla page builder version 1.1.5 being the latest version which can be downloaded and installed

Also, As Arvind has been pleased to inform that company's primary focus is currently on T4 and New page builder so we can surely except great overall changes along with robust features, probably 🙂

Also, Joomlart has recently been into acquisitions scaling up their product offerings for JA members under one roof and there is strategic and long-range planning (roadmap) to be executed for extensions which have come as part of acquisition of the specific company

romolo We can except estimated time of arrival (E.T.A) to be met although there could be times when circumstances beyond control can push or pull the stipulated date however, JA Dev. Team will endeavour to provide the updates till stipulated date.

Will keep you informed about the same or you may always view the Release updates through here for which Mail Notification alerts are also sent to Premium members whenever new topic is posted 🙂

Well....for me - its not about updates all that much... I am glad it works and its still the best builder I have ever worked with... (Except PageFly builder for shopify) ;-)

The new builder preview is delayed. It will be previewed along with T4, which is work in progress.

If there are any critical bugs in current page builder, please ping me and I will get them fixed right away. No major version of current page builder is planned as the focus is on the new builder.
