Create row with 3 columns in T4

Hi,

I want to create another row with 3 columns but get a bit of stuck with renaming the blocks and show up in positions.

See images, hope it is a bit clear.. The last image (04) is how it suppose to look. Not full with, it must be in line with the article component.

What was the Filename where the modules are being handled?

I have seen it. I just want a row below the main body section which contains 3 columns. That is all.
The overall width of the row should not be wider then the main body part.

I have read it twice but can't manage to name the columns.

Aren't there some clear video tuts about how to configure/edit the layout in T4?

Isn't it an idea to add the T4 blank template modules in all T4 templates from below the masthead position? This gives a wide range of options that can be used quickly.

In the Vertex framework you had much options to play with module positions very easy. Now when a new T4 template is build only the used modules are available.

It's better if you can share the credentials of your site so I can check directly on your site.

As I can see from screenshot, you name that new row as Section-7-standard, let me know the name you want to change to.

For 3 columns in that new row, you can load module/position/element you wish, tell me which module / position you want to use in these 3 columns, I will help to setup for you also.

I don't see the issue here, you can now simply add the module position you wish to these 3 columns

saguaros yes correct. This works likes charm. The next step to name and assign them is what I struggling with. So you can choose and assign a new module to them.

For the 'Position' selection list of a module, you will need to manually create it via /templates/your_template/templateDetails.xml file, not in layout settings of template.

This was what I was looking for.

This will not be overwritten by update right?

I'm afraid this file will be affected when updating template, pls keep in mind to backup this file before updating template.

The layout will be effected I have to copy the new positions in Template Details. Understood.

T4 is build that you can create your own layout.
When an update arrives looks to me no one wants the module positions to be touched.
Maybe the devs can find a way to update without affecting this files. I love this feature in t4. This feature gives great freedom.

There should be a list of all supported/added classes in each T4 template we can use. Doing this in the layout there is no more need to add the class in the editor. (e.g; placing text-center in the module Setup (layout) there is no more need to center text using the text editor for the created content.

For now I know what to do when a updates arrives.
