I'm testing it from chrome on my Microsoft Surface pro 4 laptop and I get horizontal scrolling.
in your code, there is mistake :
should be overflow-x: inherit; and not overflow-y: inherit;
no ?
other info : the problem is located only on home page.
on others pages, I have not this horizontal scrolling
