JA Content Slider isn't Responsive. Can you tell me how to either make this responsive or tell me another Extension I can use to display a few K2 items on my home page in a compact way AND horizontal not vertical? thank you

JA Content Slider is quite an old module, you will need to add style for it for fully support responsive layout. You can seek for suitable k2 module in JED: https://extensions.joomla.org/
