User panel menu item

Dear reader,

What is the purpose of the button "profile fields" in the dt register components menu item "user panel"? And how do I get rid of it?

Hi Ruud,

About the use: A logged in user can save his personal information here. When booking an event afterwards, his information is filled out in the registrationform automatically. So it's convenient for returning customers.

I don't know how to disable it.

A customer, in my case, is a parent. The parents sometime have more then one child. They register two childs seperately for an event, or different events. In my case the fields under "profile" are empty. I think the system doesn't understand what to fill it with. Or something like that.

We only have experience with 1 site with DT Register so far.

As far as I know, these fields won't fill automatically when someone uses the registration form. Our clients have to go to the profile and fill the fields by hand. But after that, these fields are used to fill the reservation form. This only applies to the person who created an account. So: the billing contact.

So, I think this is a one way connection from profile > reservation form.
