Page load errors when updating K2

One of the reasons I renewed support on the Technews theme was to ensure compatibility with newer versions of K2 (either v2.9.0 or the latest vv2.10.2). Installing either update with the latest Technews 1.10 template causes all K2 articles to break (plain white error page or 500 error)

Changing back to a previous version of K2 (v2.7.1) works. The issues seem to be confined to the Technews theme, can you investigate what's clashing with the update please?

GK Tech news template should work fine with K2 v2.9.0, the latest version 2.10 has been released recently and template is not ready yet.

For notices / warnings, it may due to the PHP version you're using, you can share the admin + FTP account of your site so I can take a look.

About this:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 87510624 bytes)

It due to the PHP memory limit - a PHP settings on your server side, pls contact your hosting provider for help to increase this value first.

If I enable errors in Joomla I get this on page load. The affected pages all have the ratings feature on them (the green circles around scores as seen on your demo https://demo.gavick.com/joomla3/technews/index.php/reviews/item/350-microsoft-surface )

Re-opening this one after not making changes to the site in a while. Updated to version 1.1.1 of Technews the other day - which version of K2 is supported now?

Have upped the memory limit to 512MB now
