Hi Saguaros, yes it looks like I’ve got them working, however now the locations with only one project won’t click through to the project pages.

I have the same problem. After update only the background image is showing..
Here are screenshots of the issue. In the first one you can see that the link to the project page is defined in the module backend. The second image shows the pop-up working, but neither the hotspot or the project name in the pop-up clicks through to the project page.
Could you share admin + ftp account of your site?
Is there a way to send that privately?

Could you clarify the issue here?
The spots with multiple links work because there is extra custom code added to allow multiple links, which the plugin didn’t seem to do on it’s own.
Did you try one of the single project spots? Those links don’t work.
