JAC-module - Remove yellow block on the left

the best wishes for the new-year.
I have a question, on the homepage you see a yellow block with a icon in it.
I would like to remove the yellow block completely. I have removed the icon, but that is not enough.
Please need your advise.

At approx line 52, pls comment or remove code:
