How to properly set up JA Megafilter custom layout?

I don’t know how to set up layout properly – I use custom layout2 from JA Megafilter.

When I try to set the grid layout the numbers of rows and columns are multiplying.

Also, when I select “list view” at front-end, the layout is crushing.

I would appreciate for any suggestion how to fix this.
