Template color not showing up

I have a mailto link in the last line of my first paragraph using the text 'Contact us'. The text doesn't even show because the link color is white but in my template the link color is set to navy blue. So why is the link showing up as white on my home page and thus it's invisible.

There is another rule for the link on that banner section which overrides the primary link color you set.

Pls try with this custom css:

#bannerwrap a {
    color: #2c3e50 !important;
}
