Latest news module for frontpage

I really like the "Latest Content" module you are using on the frontpage of your JomSocial II demo site. When I tried to install it on my site, I discovered that is made to use with K2. I'm using Joomla Content in conjunction with EasyLayouts and need your guidance how to use your module with Joomla Content instead of K2. I searched for "latest news" modules on the Joomla Extensions site but couldn't find anyone that it as pretty as yours and actually works.

Hi,

You mean the 'Blog Post' module? In JA Social II template, we override the K2 Content module (layout/style) so it can display like that. Re-creating the same layout/style for Joomla module will take time, you can check how we change in mockup of this module here: root/templates/ja_social_ii/html/mod_k2_content/ and use Inspect Element to see how it's styled.

Then apply to your Joomla module.
