Can you switch the template to default Joomla and make a test for contact page.
If its still same, there is issue on your server email service not sending emails. you can try SMTP method for mails setting in Joomla global configurations.
Sometime some hosting providers not support Joomla mail settings.

Let me know with site details via EDIT FIELDS option in first post if it works for default Joomla template like Protostar.

This is not controlled via Joomla or template, it related to spf records, email content and your domain rank etc.
You can contact to hosting provider for spam issues.
