In an attempt to resolve the issue I started a new account web01.thenewwebsite.co.za. So new details provided. But I have not been able solve the problem or to determine what affects the navigation. I think it is related to Masthead but it is not obvious to me what.

The original Articles in the original Portfolio category work but if I create new articles for a new category such as Functionality then the navigation does not show. If I add one of my new articles to the original Portfolio category then only its navigation does not show on the left while the rest of the articles in Portfolio are still fine.

Please explain it to me when you are able to determine what the problem is, so that I know how to apply it to other new instances that I may need to create on the site.

Thank you so much for this. I see the navigation now.

I have just posted a new problem but now when I saw your post I realised that it might be related to what you have done.

The JA Masthead module is no longer displaying the images or any of the info in the module that I have prepared for the different pages.

I have this string in the custom.css file to take away the overlay. I am not sure if it is related to the problem. But I do not think so. I have blocked it out for now because without the images in the module the images in Masthead position look terrible.

background-color: transparent !important;
}

I hope you are able to fix the module soon.

I updated the code but it seems that there is cache settings on your server side, pls flush the cache there first.

aurelia01 I am also not sure why the Masthead displays comments when the page is refreshed. See attached. But I think it is related to the general problem of the JA Masthead module settings that at not displaying.

It's not from masthead module, it's comment counter of article, it belongs to this plugin 'Content - JA Disqus Debate Echo' on your site, if you don't want to show comment count, you can disable this plugin.

The JA masthead module is not working because the image that is showing on the menu pages are not as they are set in the JA Masthead module. The images in the module should override the Article image that is currently being displayed. That is how it was working before. Take a look at this link:

Also I have refreshed my cache and the navigation buttons still display below the article. See attached.

I have just noticed that the JA Masthead module is not working on menu items that are single articles. It works on the other menu types. I am sure that it is related to the template change that you did.

Hi, I'm working on Masthead on ja_morgan and I've the same problem:
Masthead doesn't show text in menu items set to "single article" (image is showing)
If I set menu item to "featured" text appears.
