404 error in subpages of Mero template

Hi!
Sorry for my ignorance! This is the first time I use a JoomlArt template ("Mero"), and all subages of my site are 404 error. I created my first subpage with generic text content linked in "moduli continui" item of main menu, but if I click on it I have a 404 error. The template is regularly assigned to this menu item, but I don' find the error.

This looks like you have a problem with the htaccess file

I've turned off sef urls in the global configuration = Use URL Rewriting set to no

I set .htaccess and after I set SEF URLs on in global configuration, and all seems to work.

I think you need to check the template assignment as I tested with protostar first and I may not have assigned the right pages to the previous template style
