I am running a Joomla site and a companion Wordpress site, each using the Shape5 "Big Picture" template. I have chosen this template because I can make both sites look fairly similar.

But now, we are upgrading our php from v5.6.31 to v7.3. However, it appears that the Big Picture theme may not be compatible with php 7.3 (anything later than v7.2). Is this correct?

If so, are there newer versions of these Big Picture (J! and WP) templates that I can use on a webserver running php7.3? Or do I need to switch to a newer template.

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

    Hi jeffj

They should both work well with PHP 7, could you clarify the issue you're facing with PHP 7 when using theme?

Kindly share the credentials of your site also so we can help.

    Hi Saguros,

Sorry for not responding sooner. It's taken me a while to migrate my 6 websites.

The Shape5 templates on my Joomla and Wordpress sites did fine with the upgrade of php 7.3 only AFTER I updated Vertex and each template to the latest version. Prior to that, every migration was messing up.

But everything worked fine once I was running the latest versions of both the Vertext framework and the template. Thanks!

    Jeff
