Hi Paul,
No I reverted back to the template version 1.3.2 as I cannot administer the template after the update due to the module positions not appearing. As this is a current build I cannot leave it without the module positions for any period of time as I am still building the site. However, as mentioned please feel free to backup/revert using akeeba to test.
There are still issues with styles/colors not being applied in this older version of the template also thus I would really like to get the template upto date for future builds.
Regards
D
Hi D,
I've taken another backup and download of the site
I've installed it locally and updated the latest template version and zen plugin
The layout is intact and I can save different settings
Are you losing the layout when you open the settings or after a save?
Cheers
Paul
Hi Paul, the settings are missing after I update the template. If I then go into the template to load the previous saved settings the module positions do not appear, even when applying the default settings packaged with the template.
I have not updated the Zen plugin, could that be the problem?
Regards
D
Hi D,
You can't update one without the other
buildr + zen plugin framework need to be updated at the same time
Cheers
Paul
Thanks Paul, I have updated the Zengrid framework and then installed the template and these seems to have resolved the issue with the missing module positions - however it seems that when I make changes in the template design tab i.e. changing the background color of a row/container - the changes are not being applied on the frontend.
Please see screenshots attached, one showing the frontend navbar element and the other showing the settings in the backend. As I need to move on with this project I will override the settings using my custom.css but this does seem to be a bug.
Regards
D
Additionally, things which are set to be hidden on phones/tablets in the template settings are still showing. There is definitely something wrong - maybe the template is corrupt?
I.e I have the menu and logo set to be hidden on phones/tablets as I have separate modules for smaller screen but the logo is still showing.

Do you have an index.html in the root of this site?
If not can you add ftp details
The error indicates a file in the root or a problem with the site hosting
