Positioning custom html module in the masterhead

Hi there,
I am trying to us the standar joomla custom html module to add an static phone number to the top of every page in JA_MONO.
So I created a new custom html module, assingned to the masterhead postion and assigned to all pages.

First thing, there doesn't seem to be a way to order modules in the masterhead position. I orderer the custom html module in the backend before the jmasterhead module but it just gets rendered after that.
Second, what is the best way to go about getting the phone number in the positions indicated in the attached image?
I could set the custom html module to position absolute and position it at the top, but before doing that I would like to know from you if there is a specific/recommended way.

You can kindly refer to this documentation for creating new module position named masthead-top for assigning specific module as envisaged to be positioned. Also, You may require to add some CSS rule-sets in order to position the module properly

The code snippet for adding new position can be added in /templates/ja_mono/tpls/blocks/block-left.php file above the below mentioned code around line 21:
