change button color and add files

I would like to change the color of the buttons, can you tell me how to do it without losing the effect of the button?

I am making all the changes in the custom.css file. Updating the template will not be a problem, correct?
I need to add a chat to the template, and maybe add a button for whatsapp, I would like to know if I can make some changes to the template and add new styles .css, .js and .php files and have no problems afterwards or maybe they can recommend me how to make those changes in this template.

You can override the color for these 2 buttons with :

.btn-secondary.active,

  border-color: #fb8718;
}


.btn-default {
    color: #ffffff;
    background-color: #23263d;
    border-color: #23263d;
}

.btn-default:hover,
.btn-default:focus,
.btn-default.focus,
.btn-default:active,
.btn-default.active,
.open > .dropdown-toggle.btn-default {
  color: #ffffff;
  background-color: #10121d;
  border-color: #0d0e16;
}

and change to the color as you wish.
