what did the development team have to say about this? I see it is not implemented. And i wonder what the reasoning behind this is...

There is no feedback its in queue and will be changed based on more requests by users, i will add the comment again on this.
You can apply the suggestion i shared and it will work fine and no override in updates.

Ninja well like i said it’s redicous i need to create this override in every site i make with T4. It’s a 5 second change so i must say i’m very dissapointed i’m not being taken seriously here.. hard coding index.php is bad practise! Please take 5 second to fix this issue so all people can benefit from this improvement!

Please add in my vote for this. It's quite a concern.

(I'm presently here trying to find where the Site Name in the JA Morgan Quickstart is controlled from because it sure ain't the Global Configuration section of the site. Now worried that it too might be hardcoded in ... yikes!)

For those wondering about the answer to my quest, the Global Configuration setting for the Site Name was being locally overridden by the page title as set in the menu item for the home page. Joomla correct, but annoying for me. At least I managed to solve it, finally.

Would be a good thing to add this nugget of info to the documentation on the template for those who used the QuickInstall file.

Index.php is used in the URL as Joomla standard, I shared the feedback to dev team on this. And the fix will be added in the next update.

Kindly be patient for next release.

Ninja when i navigate to my website it does not add index.php at all. Like with every website! So that’s not a viable excuse here. Default joomla would be to use Juri::base!! That way whatever the joomla sef settings are. It will always adhere to that. Instead of sending me to index.php while i have sef and htaccess enabled.

We already fixed it in the core logo element of T4 framework, it will be included in the next release of T4. Thanks for your input and sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
