Error - Call to undefined function iconv()

I am getting this error after I create successfully an event on JEvents -
Call to undefined function iconv()
When i turn the debugger on I get, when I research a bit more it heads me towards the template.

JROOT/language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_conf.ini : error(s) in line(s) 285, 286

Thoughts?

I just realised why you sent me the error message - sorry didn't connect

You should be able to log in now. Sorry if ftp is not working I have tried to grab it from the Cpanel and downloaded the config file and I am having trouble logging in, pretty sure they are the credentials though.

Could you contact provider of JEvents component? I tried to switch default template to Protostar - a standard template of Joomla but the issue still happens.
