How to disable Front end edit Button

How do I disable the front end 'edit button'

I have tried one or two suggestions from the internet, but that did not work.

This option is for Super user access offered by Joomla, you can put the user to to Registered access and it will not show, this is normal by default admin and super user group members can edit articles and content on frontend.

Thank you very much. We realised that all 3 of us are super users. Created a registered user and it worked.
