We have some 50 fields defined for events but after we upgraded to DT Register 4.2.7 no fields are displayed see screen1 attached.
In an event we can still see the fields see screen2 attached
I did try the rebuild button but that did not do anything

From your attached screenshot, it seems that there is text in the search box. There maybe not any field matches this search text so there is no field display.
Try to remove this text in search box, all fields will show up.
