Uninstallation of adgency pro giving error

Hi,

I m trying to uninstall adagency but getting following error:

Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file adagency.php

Let me know how to smoothly perform uninstallation process of adagency pro.

Please check if your deleted the Agency files manually from the site folders, it will give the error.
You can install latest version and then uninstall again.
If issue back Let me know the error screenshot with steps.
Also submit site details in Edit fields so i can try.

We never deleted any files related to adagency.

Now, when I tried to reinstall this component, I got following error on installing component with warning..

Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file .DS_Store

Now, let me know the final solution? Sharing login details also.

Is this issue with all Joomla extension, it seems issue in your Joomla side API permissions not Agency, try any unwanted extension to remove if this is same issue, its due to permission issue on your Joomla

Hi Pankaj,

You are right. We are facing similar issue on updating/deleting other extensions but not all. Few updates work perfectly.

I need your suggestions:

First solution mentioned in link provided is to shift all 3rd party extensions on fresh Joomla install which is not possible for us as we have huge number of 3rd party extensions.

Second solution is to comment out line # 123 to 127 of libraries/vendor/joomla/filesystem/src/File.php. I can do this but is this the right way to unistall/update files?

About as its something issue in Joomla. I suggest you to post on the Jola forum since its Joomla side issue that may be due to some API change on your Joomla by a 3rd party extension on your site. First you can try to change permission of the file to writable and do a try.
