Discussion only used to show the comments, the preview of comment only visible when the disucssion is opened, it work same like in screenshot if you watching it on the Hompage wall as stream item.
I see but to be fair my i dont think that works for me as i need preview all time same like i need to be able to add videos everywhere and them getting automatically to videos tab, is there any future intention on changing this? Ninja

For if you post on discussion comments in that case preview not work. It will work when you post or view it on the same page. It work like this only.
i know that but i wonder if you planning to implement it everywhere?Ninja

At the moment there is no such requests made actually preview not load when it called from another page that is the reason it's not added before. If there is option found it will be added in future updates.
you should allow previews everywhere is like going back to in time when u didnt have previews so i think you should add this everywhere@pankaj#121808

Please read y last post. It has preview already but it work for the oage where its loaded on , there is technical reason of preview in comment not load when its called from another page.
what are the reason im curious i understood u using api to render prews so why wont show everywhere?Ninja

This is not an API usage, or something can explain as this codes part, as there are many DB connection, queries that call the stream items.
I am afraid its not something to explain as it development work.
i mean you talk about this software as open source but wont share some ideas on how this can be fixed? i might not understand it but i got developers who will unless you mean that your team is working to fix this?Ninja

This is not an idea,its a development codes that needs several code changes its not something i can guide you as this needs several files need to check and implement code and testing..
I will share the feedback to development team on this to look on the next updates.
If there is possibility to add, the team will add the preview option for all comments items.
